MEET BARKOLOGY
Where dogs and people learn, grow, and thrive together

Our Story
Barkology was created from a simple belief: dogs and the people who love them deserve more than care. They deserve understanding.
Founded by Toni, Barkology brings together training, enrichment, and owner education under one roof. With years of hands-on experience and a background working with both dogs and horses, Toni wanted to create something different, a place where welfare always comes first, and where owners feel welcomed, supported, and never judged.
Barkology isn’t just about improving behaviour. It’s about helping dogs feel safe and confident in the world around them, and giving owners the knowledge and reassurance to advocate for their dog every step of the way.

Meet the team
At Barkology, we're more than just trainers; we're dog lovers who understand that every dog is different. Our friendly, experienced team is here to offer practical advice, supportive guidance and plenty of encouragement, helping you and your dog build a happy, confident life together.

Toni
Founder & Trainer
Toni founded Barkology to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space for dogs and their people. She is an IMDT qualified trainer and a certified Easy Peasy Puppy Instructor, passionate about giving puppies the very best start and helping owners build lasting confidence. With her background in both dogs and horses, Toni combines practical, hands-on experience with a deep commitment to welfare. Her goal is to empower owners to become their dog’s best advocate while enjoying every step of the journey.

Sarah
Trainer & Canine Liaison
Sarah is an IMDT-qualified trainer and a vital part of Barkology. She’s passionate about building strong relationships between dogs and owners, supporting people to develop the skills needed in everyday life. Calm, friendly, and supportive, Sarah makes training approachable and rewarding for both dogs and people (and she’s also the one who keeps Toni’s ADHD brain grounded!).

Barkology isn’t just about training dogs, it’s about creating a community where owners feel welcomed and supported, and where every dog has the chance to thrive.

Educate
We stay at the forefront of positive, science-led training so owners have the knowledge and tools for a lifelong relationship with their dog.

Empower
We build a supportive network where owners feel confident, understood, and part of something bigger.

Enjoy
We believe training and care should be uplifting for both dogs and humans, making every interaction a positive experience.

We don’t believe in quick fixes or outdated methods. Our work is rooted in education, experience, and continual learning.
